W7 Banana Dreams Loose Powder Review

08:30

I've been wanting to try a banana powder for a while now but have had my doubts. I seen this W7 Banana Dreams loose powder in a set with a brush at my local TK Maxx and decided to give it a go!

I thought it was great that it came with a brush! Though I opt to use this powder under my eyes and this brush is more of an all over powder brush. In the jar you can see the slight banana colour, hwowever I do find it looks more 'yellow' on the skin than it does in the jar.

I apply this under my eyes to set my concealer using the Real Techniques Setting Brush or a Primark mini blending sponge. It does a good job of setting make up under my eyes but I do wish it was a little less yellow on my pale skin! I think it would be amazing for slightly darker skin tones than mine. I wouldn't repurchase this due to it being slightly too yellow but I'm looking forward to seeing how well it works in summer.

  2. I do love a TK Maxx bargain! I think I'm also a little bit to pale for a yellow setting powder, but I shall definitely let other people know!

  3. It looks way too yellow in the picture, it would not work for my fair skin either, I guess.

  10. Loved this review, because people are saying that a banana powder is very good, but it was good to read that it leaves pale skins a bit yellow - as I am pale as well, I won't waste money then, thank you for the review! Hope you have a lovely day!
