Max Factor Smooth Miracle Primer Review

08:05

Being a big fan of Max Factor's Facefinity Primer, I had to try this new release. The Smooth Miracle Primer (RRP £10.99) promises to smooth the skins texture ready for make up application. I've tried it a few times and have been really surprised by the results.

The texture is quite thick and creamy when first dispensing it out of the 24ml tube. However after rubbing it into the skin it feels invisible! I was very surprised, I couldn't actually feel it on my skin even though it appeared so thick when dispensing.

As it promised, my skin feels really smooth after application! I actually prefer how my skin feels with this as oppose to the Facefinity primer. My foundation glides on without any problems and has good staying power most of the day, depending on the foundation.

Overall I'm really impressed with this primer, its become my new favourite! As it definitely does all I need in a primer.

What is your favourite primer?  Have you tried this one?

  1. It's great to read a positive review on this primer, goes to show how one product might be a dud for one and a success for another. My favourite primer is Hourglass Veil Mineral and Becca Backlight Primer Filter, pricey but so worth it.

  6. I tried a baked blush from Max Factor once! It was fabulous so I would love to try out this primer. My favorite primer is the Too Faced Primed and Poreless. It smooths out your skin and makes your makeup look amazing! xx, Hannah

  8. I saw this in Superdrug the other day and was definitely intrigued! Max Factor was my favourite brand back in the day, their second skin foundation was great. It's great to see them coming out with new releases, and the primer sounds brilliant. My favourite one is the L'Oreal studio secrets, although I saw they're discontinuing it now! :) xx
